Sub Urban Riot is this weeks “Brand of the Week”
Sub Urban Riot has been stocked at spoiled brat for nearly 2 years!
Sub Urban Riot has been a massive hit with you guys, and we love it as much as you do! The new collection has just been released online to our site and its bowled us over with more quirky quotes and graphics, so much so that we are awarding it our “Brand of the Week“
So who is Sub Urban Riot? Well its a fabulous fashion brand which was found in 2006 in Venice, by two guys who were wondering why they were spending their lives stuck in tiny cubicles. They were sick and tired of following “the rules.” They weren’t sure who made the rules in the first place.
So they made a change. They quit their corporate jobs, and they created their own brand. Nathan Koach and Jason Reed, the company’s co-founders, were inspired by the creativity of their unique group of friends.
The name Sub Urban Riot is derived from the idea that a little contradiction and chaos can create new ideas and notions about how we live.
The Sub Urban Riot designers believe there’s a little RIOT in all of us, and their clothing and accessories reflect this attitude of taking chances and making individual statements, all while having fun.
Their designs are inspired by the classics, but offer simple modern execution, while at the same time keeping it bold. Their manufacturing is primarily USA-based with all of our cut and sew operations located within a 20-minute drive of downtown LA.
Sub_Urban Riot believes in the good life – reinvented. The good life 2.0 is about fresh juice, daily philosophy, dogs and cats living together, coffee breaks, farmer’s markets, yoga, croquet battles, art shows, kale, camping, craft brews, and t-shirts.
There’s a wink and a smile to the brand; a subtle humour. A deeper dive uncovers a unique viewpoint on the world and times. The zeitgeist will be broadcast (on your body).
Sub_Urban Riot makes clothes that look good, feel good, and make people laugh — the new luxury goods. Without the price tag or the attitude. Sub_Urban Riot promises that they will rarely, if ever, take themselves too seriously.
The brand has already made a huge impact on the fashion scene, with fashionistas like Beyonce wearing their famous KALE sweatshirt and Rihanna wearing the famous KALE T-Shirt. And then we have the A-List like Kate Hudson, Megan Fox and Reese Witherspoon regularly snapping up their quirky designs.
At spoiled brat we are proud to offer a huge selection of Sub Urban Riot online in the UK. Infact we are the only UK stockist of this brand. We have the full range of SubUrbanRiot Tees and Sub Urban Riot Sweaters for you to browse and buy in our online boutique.
Live by your own set of rules. Throw the old ones out, and create your own set.

Ashley James wows in a Liquor N Poker Denim Jacket
Ashley James shows off her figure in our Liquor N Poker Denim Jacket
Ashley James looked festival ready this morning, as she left her weekly radio show.
Ashley teamed her fabulous rainbow-coloured pom-pom denim jacket with some quirky fuchsia jeans, and a cute cropped top. We love this fun look on Ashley, in particular her Liquor N Poker pom pom denim jacket.
Pompoms have had a bit of a moment over the last few months, being found on everything in our wardrobes from keyrings and clutch bags to shoes and jumpers. And it seems that the trend has moved its way in to summer too and Ashley showed it off perfectly with her pom pom trimmed denim jacket. The reality stars look, was a very ‘90s inspired outfit, and denim jackets as well as bomber jackets are BACK in fashion.
Ashley’s denim jacket would be perfect for festival season as well as brightening up your off duty wardrobe beforehand. It’s by denim brand, Liquor n Poker and you can buy it now, and you will find it to be the most versatile jacket you have ever owned, which you can wear all seasons.

Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall wears our Native Rose Silver Dress
Jade Thirlwall wears Native Rose on a night out with her bandmates.
The Little Mix girls are living it up while on they are on tour and sharing various snaps on their instagram to make us even more jealous! They have even managed to find some time for a night at a karaoke bar (where they showed off their vocal talents – Bit unfair on the other wannabes really)
The girls all looked sensational on their night out, we see Perrie Edwards opting for an all-white look and Jesy nelson went off-shoulder, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock both chose to sparkle in metallic dresses for their gals night out.
Jade’s sparkling little number is by Native Rose here at Spoiled Brat! We are massive fans of this super easy to wear mini dress, which has pewter sequins all over and quirky shell details. It’s the perfect piece for shimmying on the dance floor . We think it looks fab when teamed with a pair of biker boots, to create a real grunge princess look! However you wear it, you’ll be sure to turn heads and will catch the light beautifully this season.

Katie Price was pictured wearing our Liquor N Poker Bomber Jacket
Miss Katie Price, looked casual wearing our liquor n poker camo print bomber jacket as she arrived earlier today, at the ITV studios in London to celebrate Loose Women’s 2,500th anniversary.
Katie is clearly a 90s gal at heart as she has been seen recently wearing a whole array of the back in fashion 90s favourite bombers. Infact she isnt the only celebrity embracing their inner 90s chic, with even Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin sporting the 90s classic!
We can see why – the bomber jacket is lightweight yet warm (and boy do we need heat right now, snow at the end of April….WTF?!) And the jackets have been given a 2016 update with some cool and quirky prints and badges. They go with anything and are super comfy.
The yummy mummy, paired her liquor n poker bomber jacket with some white shredded joggers and finished the look off with some grey glittery trainers.
Let Festival Season & Festival Fashion Commence…..
We love this time of year, the sun is starting to make an appearance and we have seen (and drooled) over all the pics from Coachella & all the celebs festival looks! That means one thing, we will soon be in the midst off full blown festival season, when every weekend is filled with some sort of outdoor music event, so there is one thing for sure – your wardrobe will need sorting out.
Now in all seriousness, how to get the festival look? Well when we think of festival fashion, we look to our celebs for some inspiration. Celebs who have stylists, who pick the best trends and styles! So look to our festival style idols Kate Bosworth, Kate Moss, Alessandra Ambrosio, Vanessa Hudgens and Alexa Chung, who look stylish, comfortable and also as if they’re prepared for what is essentially a big wet stag do with lots of music in the background (Ok, fine maybe not Bosworth, Alessandra & Vanessa, who tend to opt for the warmer festival options, ie non British!).
These girls however have shown us that you don’t have to wear hotpants, nor do you have to wear a floral headband!
What you will need is a warm jacket (unless you’re lucky enough to attend a festival outwith the UK, in which case just a good pair of sunglasses will do); a slouchy jumper and a nifty pair of shorts. You need to be able to dance as energetically as Jagger and be fit enough to walk for miles without getting wet feet or being in pain!
Going to a festival is a test of endurance, literally! I remember my 1st festival, T In The Park and having a blast during the day in the rain only to go back to the campsite for the evening and discover a rain flooded tent. You need to have patience and expect all seasons! Your festival ‘wardrobe’ , should therefore be a survival kit, packing light however is the key; ensuring all essentials to make the experience easier. If you think about what you’re wearing once you’re there, then its FACT that you’re not having enough fun. If your shoes or dress cross your mind once when you’re inside those dance tents, then walk to the nearest bar or fun fair immediately – on our command!
So we have taken the heat for you & scoured our online store (we have a fancy online festival fashion shop set up too just for you) to help you find shopping ideas to help you cater to every kind of festival, to make sure that fun is your priority, not what you look like! The perfect denim-cut offs; the suede jacket that will keep you warm when day turns to night; durable, but stylish footwear ideal for dancing; and the dress that will make you feel as carefree as boho 70s chic! Brands like unif, minkpink and the ragged priest are quite simply made for festivals!

Kendall Jenner wears Glitter Hair Roots at Coachella
Kendall Jenner was snapped at Coachella music festival this weekend. She showcased her 5ft10 model figure in a white lacy boho style maxi-dress, really embracing the festival vibes. Aside from the music festival, Kendall also became a DJ for the day, behind the decks of the invite-only 1OAK and Up & Down pool party!
The 20-year-old reality princess, who relies on stylist Monica Rose, accessorised her eyelet frock with circle shades, brown gladiator sandals, and an ornate necklace.
She then rocked the same raver-bun hairstyle César DeLeön Ramirêz gave her half-sister Khloé Kardashian on the March 30 episode of FYI’s Kocktails With Khloé, but added her own unique touch to it, with glitter hair roots.
Glitter hair roots are all the rage right now, we wrote about this last year when celebs like Miley Cyrus were rocking the look. And now it seems to be a trend moving into 2016 too! We love it, a little bit of glitter never hurt anybody! And for festivals the look is great.
Luckily for you gals we have loads of different colours to chose from by London label, Natural Products – silver like Kendall or something more whacky like pink or blue, or mix em up?
We are going back to droll over the sunshine at Coachella (unfortunately only in pics)
Katie Price spotted in Liquor N Poker Bomber Jacket
Katie Price was keeping it casual yesterday, when snapped leaving the Loose Women ITV studios. She looked cool and on trend in a khaki coloured two piece, some hitop trainers and our Liquor N Poker bomber jacket with patches.
Bomber jackets are well and truly back in fashion! The 90s are back in trend again! We have seen loads of celebs snapping up these retro looking jackets, which have been given an update with patches and appliques and they have been all over the catwalks! The bomber jacket is great, its great actually for all year round and girls these days are dressing them up for nights out, wearing with their dresses and heels. They look awesome and are super easy to wear! And they come in such a variety these days, we even have a Valfre one with satin pink lining which gives a bit of girliness to what can often be seen as a tomboy style.
Have a look at some of our suggestions below to get the look of Katie and the rest of the celeb fash-pack.
Chloe Sims wears Wildfox on TOWIE
Chloe looks amazing, choosing to team our swing style Wildfox tee with a red biker jacket, which highlights the red feathers on the tee and some black skinny jeans. Chloe is one stylish lady , we always love seeing the outfits she pulls together! She has become a style icon in her own right, and her style has really evolved since joining TOWIE. Even her daughter Madison has become a mini-fashionista after taking to the catwalk on Sunday nights’ episode, modelling for co-star Billie Faiers new childrenswear collection.
Tonight is the series finale of TOWIE – boo hoo! And its set to be an explosive episode with 4 relationships going through turmoil!
Chloe Sims films TOWIE in Lauren Moshi
TOWIE’s Chloe Sims was pictured today filming an Easter inspired theme for the show. Instead of going for the cute and girly, Easter theme – Chloe opted for a real rock chick look, teaming our Lauren Moshi “Pump up the Jam” graffiti style top with some skinny jeans, a biker jacket and some fun bunny ears.
Chloe’s style has evolved since she has been on the show, and she is now a style icon in her own right. She loves to experiment with her look and she is a real champion of the grunge 90s look and also the rock chick look. We think she is absolutely killing it in the style stakes and is for us, the top fashionista on the show! Always getting it right and on trend with her looks – Chloe is the girl to watch!
Like her look? This Lauren Moshi tank is super shredead with rips and tears for that real rock edge, and it features embroidered graffiti style slogan straight out of the 90s “Pump Up the Jam”
