A Fashion Nerd and Juicy Couture
Juicy Couture Bag featured on A Fashion Nerd Blog
Our Juicy Couture mini backpack gets a sixties inspired makeover in Amy Roiland aka The Fashion Nerd’s latest blog post.
We are loving this monochrome mary quant style post – where Amy wears a floral mini dress, some fun black ankle boots and finishes the look off with our black Juicy Couture solstice floral mini-backpack; and of course her trademark glasses.
She has styled the post against some cool coloured backgrounds, which highlights the monochrome styling of her look. This mini backback by Juicy is the perfect little bag for carrying round all your essentials and a good bag which you could use for everyday use or even for a night out!
We love working with bloggers – its always great to see how they style up our items & Amy’s post is up there with one of our fav looks.

The famous Juicy Couture tracksuits are now a museum exhibit – yes really!
Don’t throw out that old Juicy Couture tracksuit just yet!
Back in the good old days, the non so distant “noughties” aka 2000s, Juicy Couture jogger suits were the absolute ultimate in lounge wear. All the cool girls wore them, paired up with the Juicycouture charm bracelets and pink velour tote juicy bags. But now, curators at London’s Victoria & Albert museum have a new purpose for the once vogue leisurewear…… a museum exhibit!!!
While, Juicy’s colourful tracksuits are currently making a huge coming back on the fashion scene, they have also just become part of the V&A’s “Underdressed: A Brief History of Underwear” exhibit, as an immortalised part of fashion history. The iconic Juicy Couture piece however is in good “fashionable” company, by being joined by the likes of Kate Moss’ famously see-through Liza Bruce dress along with pieces designed by Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Vivienne Westwood and more. The exhibit is running right now – until the end of this year. Will you check it out?
While the Juicy Couture tracksuit may be a museum piece, as we have mentioned, the tracksuits are currently undergoing a huge revival, with Juicy relaunching these for AW16 under the hashtag #Trackisback
Juicy Couture has become an iconic brand and their velour tracksuits are not only super comfortable, but also downright unforgettable. Because who could possibly fail to remember Amy Poehler’s pink terry set from Mean Girls? (She was always the cool mum). Paris Hilton was practically the poster child for the suit set back in the day, as was her pal Kim Kardashian. Even Britney Spears, Eva Longoria and Vanessa Hudgens were all big fans.
Even Kim Kardashian mentioned Juicy in her own blog, this week
“When I look back at old photos, I can’t believe some of the outfits I used to wear! I was SO obsessed with those classic Juicy Couture tracksuits a few years ago, and had them in every color. I still have all of mine, I can’t let them go LOL! Vogue.com just featured me in a story on the possible comeback of this look, so I thought I’d share this epic fashion throwback with you guys!”
Juicy Couture has always been one of our favourite brands – statement making, super girly and fun.
